Mihealthelink will be a secure online system developed by and for doctors, hospital systems, health insurers, pharmacies and privacy officers in the seven-county Greater Kalamazoo and Battle Creek areas. Its purpose is to share essential patient information quickly and accurately with authorized health care providers.

Mihealthelink can save lives by placing the needs of the patient first by offering providers immediate access to crucial patient health data. It also improves routine medical care—doctors can spend less time tracking down test results and health information, and focus more time diagnosing and treating patients.

Mihealthelink is being created by a community collaboration involving health care providers, payers, hospitals, public health organizations and businesses. For more information and regular progress updates on the status of Mihealthelink, please visit us on this website. Mihealthelink is currently being funded by state grants and will eventually be funded by provider participants
